Hi all,

First off apologies to the MOD's if this is in the wrong place but......I have joined the forum to see if anyone can help. I am looking for a guide for Via Ferrata in Germany (no problem with finding them in Italy, Switzerland, France etc but Germany...) I am looking for a guide to take my girlfriend out for a couple of days in early August and who can provide all the kit and expertise needed. She is physically fit, good with heights and although an accomplished scrambler has never rock climbed.

Can any of the forum users help please?

There you go - all set out by region, with photos, grades, stars, the lot. It's in German, but pretty self- explanatory.

Edit - ah, I now see that you're after a human guide, not a guidebook!

Mind you, I've just Googled "via Ferrata Germany Guide" and there's plenty to pick from, at around €90 pppd.

Hi JW, Thank you for the responses. Whenever I google it I just get the one guide who I have contacted and been told that he is booked up. I asked if he could suggest anyone else and he said no!

Will have another Google now.
