Hi everyone,

Been a long time lurker of these forums but only just got signed up so I apologise if this is in the wrong place or considered double post.

Need some help from shoe pros
I need to get my Evolv Predators resoled, I just cannot bring myself to move on.
I have the original ones; these http://packpaddle.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/evolv_predator_climbing_sh... and they don't make them like this anymore.

I wonder what the best is option to get these fixed? Evolv dedicated shoe repair (YosemiteBum, Trax) were no help, my very polite email was bluntly responded to with. "We don't do international business"

Need a good, reputable rock shoe repair that are good with downturned performance shoes and also use good rubber.

Thanks in advanced,
Ally

I've always used Cheshire shoes. http://www.cheshireshoe.co.uk/rockboots.asp

I've no complaints about quality or service as yet.

Llanberis resoles are pretty good, especially with down turned shoes.
Heard good things about a company in Greece (a search of the forums should find them). They seems to do amazing work at a fraction of the cost of UK resolers but I've got no personal experience with them.

Fantastic! Thanks a lot Andy, I like the looks of this Greek family business a lot! Will send them off and report back with the results!

This is the site for anyone else http://www.shoedoc.eu/rock%20climbing.htm

Also thanks to The Norris. I looked into Cheshire shoes but I heard to mixed results on them.

Edit! On closer inspection the ShoeDoc.eu seem to only cover La Sportiva shoes. I have reached out with a query will let you guys know.

I have previously used llanberis resoling and was very satisfied (shoes were an old scarpa vapor v model).

Can't comment on the other services personally, but do know folk who have had walking boots resoled with Cheshire and they were satisfied.

Likewise. He seems to do pretty consistently excellent work.

I believe he doesn't work during the school holidays though, so not the man to go to for anything that needs doing urgently in the next 5-6 weeks or so..

Yeah I checked him out and may send my Meindl B1s too him after the holidays.

The Greek business got back to me he said they do all shoes. Looks great going to send them off shortly.

Thanks for everyone who helped!
