Hi Guys

Any ideas on best guidebooks, topo/route descriptions for the routes on the Aiguille du Dru (Petit Dru/Grand Dru), be good to have info on approach and descent also.

I have read a few blog reports and picked up useful info online but looking for more in depth descriptions.

Just done a search on here and it seems there is shit loads of useful info from previous peoples posts..

Would be keen to find out more though as all useful, how easy it is the find the abseil points for the descent over the top and down to the Charpoua Glacier

There are topos available for routes on Les dru in one of the folders in the OHM in Chamonix. The Lindsay Griffin guidebook also has info on routes and a few pictures and topos. I suppose it would depend on what you wanted to do as to whether the information is still accurate in the book.
