Evening all,

Pretty much what is in the title, off to the Beddgelert area for the weekend, any suggestions of somewhere a bit different to go? Have the kids, so thinking of something with a bit of variety, waterfalls always go down well. Somewhere in the region of five hours or so.

Thanks in advance

Juan

B/gelert - Lynn Dinas- Bwlchy Sygun- Nantmoor -B/gelert

Watkins Path to Cwn Llan , lots of waterfalls

Sygun Copper Mine if its raining

In reply to Albert Tatlock:

Path from Beddgelert up onto Mynydd sygun (200m moderate ascent). Descend (various routes) into Cwm bychan, past old mines and the 'Ski lifts' Down to the National Trust carpark at Nantmor then follow the path alongside the whitewater river / steam railway back up through Aberglaslyn gorge.

Thanks for the replies, ended up doing a slightly shorter day, had a nice walk down the Northen side of Lyn Gwynant - nice mix of scrambley bits to play on.
