Hello All

Dusting off my ice axes (been a few years) and going up to Aviemore at the beginning of March.
Looking to do simple stuff maybe up to IV, but was wonder if people could recommend a guide books and what sort of rack is good for the Northern Quarries/Hells Lum

Guide book SMC either Scottish winter climbs or Cairngorms guide. Northern corries wires, hexes, bulldog useful. Hells Lum add ice screws ~ 8.

I've been looking for a northern quarry to practice dry tooling and get fit for the winter but they're either total choss or rock climbing venues...
