Get off the sofa onto the SofA. Subsidised introductory and skill based courses for £15.
After a great Big Shakeout festival weekend we have decided to extend The School of Adventure and take it on the road... well admittedly not far initially, just along to Hathersage and Thornbridge Outdoors are helping us put on courses run out of our store.
SofA course fees have subsidised with help from our Alpkit Foundation. This will hopefully offer encouragement to anyone that may have felt an obstacle in the way of trying something new and getting to enjoy the outdoors, whether that's simply monetary or indeed confidence, experience and skills.
So if you're planning a trip to the Peak District and you missed the chance to try something at the Big Shakeout then check what courses are happening over the coming months, from climbing and caving to mountain biking and navigation.
