Dunno, but if i listen to the ladies section of his ladies and gentleman compilation album it puts me in a really calm mood.

Really saddened me when he died.

Listen without prejudice - one of the iconic albums of the 90s.

Club Tropicana - many a happy night listening to Wham nonsense which was a nice antidote to the new romantic sound.

No idea but what did he have in common with a wellington boot?

Bastard!
I was actually hoping for a proper bit of trivia! Something that I could amaze people with at parties, gymkhanas and the occasional funeral wake. etc.
Something along the lines of Bob Holness playing the Sax solo on Baker Street. How disappointing!

FFS

Is there some sort of unwritten rule on UKC that people can piss all over my stuff?

I asked a couple of simple questions in a relevant forum about a musician and what people consider to be his best piece of work. And I get some gay knob jokes?

FFS yerself, what a whiney self-pitying post. So far you've had 2 relevant answers, one joke and some banter. Get over yourself.

Do you realise you've just repeated something made up?

FFS. It's not all about you. Stop playing the victim, stop classing YOUR threads as somehow important, and have a think about all the "off colour" humour you've posted on other peoples' threads.

And feel free to click "dislike" on my post here in the next minute.

Big fan of all his work here. Cant help you with the best, great pop songwriter; wish he'd got his drug thing sorted and was still with us.

Maybe I should have said that David Bowie invented Connect 4?

Weirdly enough I had a pint with Stuart Maconie last week (apologies for the lame name drop), I should have asked him about this - I had no idea his claim was disputed.

Nah, that one's actually true.

Only after his patent claim for his own version of Hungry Hippos was denied.
