Sorry if a stupid question - why is Savage Slit a Severe in summer, but grade V in winter? V seems to me a significantly harder grade. Just curious, never really ventured onto that sort of terrain in winter but it looks like a fantastic climb from the photos.

Stuff can vary quite a lot between winter and summer grades - some Severe routes are VI in winter, but then so are some HVS routes.
