Off to Cham next week, looking for recommendations on a 2 day adventure with the following requirements (based on the group Im with)

- No snow/ice approaches that will require crampons/technical approaches

- An amazing bivi spot

- A couple of brilliant multi-pitch rock routes

Thoughts?

Cheers

Luke

There are some good routes and bivi spots on the  Aiguille de Blaitière, you're limiting yourself quite a bit with the "no snow" criterion, though.

There's a nice spot below the Peigne just up and left a bit from the Plan telepherique station - Lac Bleu. Complete with stone ring shelters according to Google Earth.

You have loads of such options from the Plan des Aiguilles. On the other side of the road you could consider the Pouce et al.

bivvy off the plan station and you have the chapelle de la gliere and the index.

Completely agree  with the limitation but want to do atleast some of the trip with all of the group. The rest of the time some of the group will be on snow/ice and the rest on pure rock
