I also have the push by Caldwell, on the nose by Hans Florine and confessions by Mark Twight that are good.

  • K2, Roberts, Visteurs

The Accent of Rum Doodle

A must read/listen for all those with an interest in the great age of British mountaineering, advanced navigation, high altidue scientific study of the boiling point of ice, Yogistani cooking and of cource the facinating subject of fiances.

'To read of an accent of Mont Blanc by the Grepon route is one thing, to read of the accent of Rum Doodle is, as Totter once said, quite another!'

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer and The climb by Anatoli Boukreev are both good (and opposing) accounts of the same Everest tragedy.
