This week's Friday Night Video is the story of Wafaa Amer and her struggle to find freedom and balance in her life. Born in Egypt to traditional parents, Wafaa moved to Italy when she was 9 and began to notice the lack of opportunities she had because she was a woman. When she discovered climbing, she thought to herself 'woman can play sports here?' Wafaa explains how through climbing, she began to question the path laid out for her: getting married and being a housewife.
