Sombra del Leon

Does anyone have any topos or info on how to arrive (if route names are written on the wall)?

Cant find any information anywhere or any guidebooks, though there are plenty of logs on here.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi, it's in the orange-cover roca Espana book, from a few years back.

Hey Jonny,

I haven't climbed at this crag, but have walked below it. Looks pretty nice.

Access is easy from the same parking spot as for Ponoch - by the big green building. Then follow a path that traverses away from the Ponoch going towards Cova Fuma. Keep going beyond this to reach the crag. Have a google of Barranco de la Rubia - the crag is on the exit from this.

Can't remember if there's names on all the routes, but think that maybe some do.

If you need any info for the big Ponoch crags I have the definitive guidebook

Think Mark's approach directions might be a little misleading. For the main climbing area at Sombre de Leon, you head uphill, round the right hand side of the green building, steeply for about 10 minutes, until there is a big pinnacle on the left (cairn). Don't head left directly from the car park. Turn off left, still going up, then traverse to the left, over a ridge and arrive under the crag. I have an old ?2012 Richard Davies topo I can send you if you message me with a personal email address.

Ah, maybe I've got the wrong crag. Apologies.
