Does anyone know what the current rate (or 2024 as I guess the site isn't yet open for the  year) for camping - tents rather than vans - at the Ardroil site at Uig Sands? And is it still non-booking only, just turn up and pay?

Am starting to plan some trips for this year to look forward to while going a bit stir crazy in these dark and cold days!

Hiya, I was there in summer for 3 nights it was just turn up and pay cash in an honesty box. If might have been £20 / night, or less.  It felt good value. The nearby hills are fantastic, not to mention the beach.

I was there in 2023 and I think it was somthing like £5 a night for tents and no need to book. An amazing spot

Thanks both.  I'm guessing that was £20/night for a van, ross?  Ebdon's £5/night for camping sounds more familiar from last time I was down that way and what others have said.
