Thank you for your comments.
Regarding equity, I am not talking a few percent, but a significant proportion, depending on role and responsibility etc.
This opportunity is clearly not for everyone, but below are some possible profiles, which is why I have posted on UKC/UKH:
- You are working as an engineer in London and have recently got through the chartership hurdles. You recently met the love of your life who is also a climber and works in a coffee shop in a village in north Wales. You got engaged and are working out where you are going to live. She is reluctant to give up the mountain life, and to be honest, it appeals to you too. You want to keep climbing/mountaineering as a hobby, and there are no/few engineering jobs in the area and you are reluctant to give up your engineering career for which you have worked hard and want to create, analyse, design, build stuff and deliver excellence to clients, and can cope with a little lag in payment as we get things properly going.
- You are in your 50s perhaps working for an international consultancy in a big city. You have already decided that when you retire you will move to the mountains. However, why not go a little earlier, and work there for 5-10 years, serving clients nationally and beyond and make the most of being in the mountains for more regular weekend days out?
- You already run your own engineering firm, and think we could be stronger and better together.
- Various other potential profiles.
