Just supposing I've seen a good deal online for Vapour velcros and love the lace up version of this shoe (don't look, I saw it first!)

Is the fit like for like, or how does it compare? 

I take same size in both. Personally prefer the lace version but they fit very similarly in my experience. 

I take the same size in both lace and velcro, seem to be pretty much exactly the same fit. Worth note that the slipper isn't the same and I had to go half a size up to even get my foot in 

Great, thank you both. Too easy to get the wrong shoes without trying on,  think I'll pass. 

If it helps anyone else I’m the same size in the Vapour S (against the older V and all my other Scarpas). The strap barely meets on my wide feet but definitely a nice shoe. I like Scarpa’s consistent sizing …so far!
