I have used Corax harness's size 2, for many years. I have just bought a new one online thinking it would be the same, But its much smaller, the length of waistband is 3'' shorter, gear loops shorter too, just tried hanging test, and it squashes my goolies ! Would not want to take a fall in it! SO have Petzl changed the sizing and or design ?

Mine, size 2, bought late last year is smaller c/w the old one I retired. Bought in a shop without trying on and like you assumed it would be the same, but discovered later it has less adjustment on waist and legs. The padded part of the waistband is only a little shorter though the adjustment part is much shorter. My gear loops are longer though.

Fortunately I do find it more comfortable than my old one despite it being smaller. 

The Corax got a major update somewhere in the last few years. Don't remember when specifically. Same for the Hirundos and some other Petzl harnesses. 

Yep had a total redesign. I bought one last year thinking it'd be the same and no longer fit me! Ended up with some dmm thing after I sent it back which is comfy.
