Any suggestions for car hire at Carcassonne airport please

Not specifically, but having nearly been caught out with car hire at another smaller airport (Grenoble), do check what time/days the branch is open before you hire!

I used Enterprise.... 2 minute walk from the terminal. Booked/paid in advance in the UK, but then they failed to provide me with the Mercedes Sprinter as it had been crashed!! Given a Citroën Berlingo instead, but eventually managed to get a total refund as they failed to provide a suitable/like-for-like vehicle.... so free vehicle was a winner for me!!

Do it frequently, just do a search on Kayak or similar and select one with on airport collection, it's actually across the road but nobody seems to care.

There are a few who bus you to a dodgy location in the rough end of Carcassonne, don't bother.
