What are people's favourite full-size nuts? There's a fair bit of choice nowadays, I can't add more options unfortunately . I'll do another poll for their least favourite, and for half nuts.

What's your favourite type of nut?

Wild Country Rocks
DMM Wallnuts
DMM alloy offsets
Metolius Curve nuts
Deez
Wild Country Superlight Offset Rocks
Pea
General McAuliffe's
BD Stoppers
Camp Pro Nuts
Moac
DMM Halfnuts
Lickmy Nuts
Suckma
Dmm peen nuts
Chouinard stoppers
RP (originals)
DMM Wallnuts up to size 5 and WC rocks above that and also a set of DMM offsets
Well, actually, they're a legume
Macadamia
Another pointless post
Chestnuts
My testicles
Peck Crackers

Hazelnuts innit. Chocolate bars with hazelnuts in them are the best.

Black Diamond.  It's what I learned with.  I think peoples' favourite nuts will more than likely be what they learned with.

I found that a set of BD stoppers was the perfect complement to a set of DMM Wall nuts.

In reply to Toerag:

I thought the wires on the Stoppers were a bit floppy.... went back to WC rocks.

My favourites are DMM Wallnuts.... I've never bought any, but have retrieved a full set & more over the years... they really seat well.

I do like both the DMM & WC offset nuts very much, & these are probably my most frequently type nowadays

From the second’s perspective the answer to this is a no-brainer, clog hexagons. These marvels of engineering had legendary and still unsurpassed self-releasing powers meaning that the second rarely if ever had to worry about taking out their leader’s runners.

The best of all worlds is a mix. Personally, climbing on longer igneous pitches, 1 set of wallnuts, 1-7 rocks, gold - grey DMM offsets, and then most of a set of IMPs, mixed with some BD microstoppers, HB bronze nuts and a few dmm bronze offsets.

Metolius are hard to clean. BDs don't seat as well. Camp Pronuts just look daft. Most older models have been superceded.

Maybe for some, but I learned with wild country rocks (before they either had anodised colours or coloured tag/sleeve), however I find DMM walnuts seat better so after a few years I switched allegiance.

That said . I voted MOAC. While I don't carry or place one often (maybe only mountain route, also I only own one) the satisfaction of placing one in a bomber position is just a favourite for me.

It has to be a Moac.

Superseded is one of the quirks of English. It has an "s" where all similar words have a "c".

Interestingly, there are a few "c" words that spring to mind.
