I was in Kendal, staying with Neil Gresham, his wife and their children. We had just presented a film at Kendal Mountain Festival and I was spending a few more days in the beautiful Lake District before going back home. I had obviously heard of Malham Cove before. But what was that famous place like? This was my chance to find out.

Really nice film, and such clean precise climbing. That sequence through the roof between 3.50 and 4.20, with the double crimp side-pulls (can't think of a better description) had my finger joints involuntarily screaming, not to mention my dodgy knees with all the knee-drops. And usually music can be distracting but it was well judged here. Top effort.

Just a v11 boulder problem at the top of some 8a climbing, then some sustained moves. She makes it sound easy!

Impressive climbing. 

Yes really smooth and she barely seems out of breath!
