I remember several years ago being at Awesome walls in Liverpool when Shauna was climbing with her friend on an adjacent route to me and I was gobsmacked while they were climbing and chatting about what clothes they were going to get for their Bratz or Barbie dolls for xmas - route grade was 6b or something. I felt very old but well done
Great news!
Having watched some of the footage - noticed that Shauna and Adam got penalised for something seemingly completely minor when starting a problem. Couldn't see myself what it was and in Ondra'a case did it lose him the gold? He didn't seem too pleased about it.
What were their infringements?
Think it was they both didn't have two feet on the marked start hold (both had one foot and the other flagged out).
Yes, think Ondra would've won (same tops in attempts, fewer attempts for the bonuses).
