Hello!

I am a complete beginner when it comes to climbing. I've done a couple sessions on auto belays, bouldering but have done a couple outdoorsy bits but never had to really do anything myself.

If you have time & patience, would love to be able to find someone or people that could help teach me, it's difficult to start out with ropes by yourself.

Thanks!

Leonie

I'm not Berkshire based, but if you fancied a few days in North Wales or the Peak District I'd be happy to potentially show you the ropes.

Where abouts are you?

Steve (Fatclimber), who replied earlier, is my regular Thursday evening partner at Reading Wall. I'd be happy for you to drop in with us for an hour or so during our session to get an idea of the basics, if that helps (and if Steve is ok with that)? Learning is best done in a three (or more), otherwise you'll be practicing your belaying and the other climber won't know whether or not you're proficient enough to catch them yet! Always good to have someone on the ground to talk you through it all.

I'm not climbing this week but could do next week if that works.
