Has anyone bought gymnastic rings from Gravity Fitness?

Hi

After my Calisthenics class the instructor advised me to buy some gym rings and he suggested one from Gravity Fitness - he has them too.

https://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/walls+training/calisthetics_as_training_f...

I have been doing the exercises with rings at the various walls I go to - even when I was in Sheffield.

Has anyone bought Gravity Fitness ones and what diameter have people purchased?

On a slightly different topic, has anyone had problems with Lattice Training cosmetic seconds? I am thinking if purchasing some of the discounted products.

I don't recall what diameter they were, apologies. Though I doubt there's much between the two sizes.

"never had any problems with them" surely it's self explanatory?

I assume Sav was checking whether your response was in relation to the gravity rings or the Lattice seconds question at the end of his post.

Thanks for clarifying this - there are four millimetres between the two diameters.

Gravity Fitness have free delivery to UK if you spend £80 or over so I am thinking of getting something else.

Any suggestions?

I have a couple of their steel mace's, great fun/training tool.

Start with a 5kg or lighter if you are considering one though.

Parralettes could be a good option too.

In regards to the rings, I have 2 sets of gymnastic rings, one I have had are about 13 years old now and are some sort of fibre glass, the other are cheap wooden ones. Both serve the purpose that they were intended for.

The lightest they have in stock at the moment is 8kg.

I have thought about getting paralettes but there are three lengths to choose from.

There is a Cafe Kraft video for core strength and one of the exercises is with paralettes.

Since nobody has replied about what paralletes to buy.

What are people's thoughts on the weight vests they sell?

They also sell ankle and wrist weights.

Just to go a tad off-topic.

How do people do hanging knee raises? Are straight arms better than bent arms?

Similar for Aussie rows.
