I was looking at a possible Moonboard for my home climbing wall and when I checked out the holds I noticed that there are two new wooden hold sets that look big enough to make some nice easier problems. They are going to be part of the Moonboard Masters 2019 competition and will be in the app at the end of November.

I then noticed on the new web in the holds and setups section there is a "Moonboard 2020" which is marked as coming soon.

Has anybody heard anything about these? I can't find any other information online.

I assumed the 2019 Moonboard Masters set up is just the wooden holds (sets A, B and C) they used for the Masters event then the 2020 setup is the same setup but with the rest of the board filled out with the school holds A & B (black and whites). I can't find anything confirming this so just guessing at the moment!

That could make sense! They've removed the 2020 option from the website so I presume it's just the 2019 with the full set of holds. They look nails so I'm going to get the 2017 for now
