Probably opening up an old book here.

As there are currently fu*k all dry tooling venues in or around Glasgow or even Scotland in general, I would be keen to locate/ clean and bolt anywhere with potential but I can't think of anywhere around the G postcode.

Does anyone have any bright ideas? Bridges, tunnells, towers, quaries??

Cheers,

Gav.

In reply to Gavin McColl:

Plenty of old sandstone bridges. We used to top rope (not with axes) on two in and East of Bridge of Weir. Not really steep enough though and you'd need to remove mortar or drill for placements so someone might object.

Edit: You've not got a brother called Craig have you?

Or get an O.S. map, circle all the disused quarries and spend a rainy day driving round to see if there's anything suitable. I suspect Glasgow climbers may have already done this.

May be worth a look! I don't mind drilling if necessary and giving it's a man made structure and not a registered venue I won't loose any sleep over it!

No brother, just 2 pain in the arse sisters...

Cheers Dave!
