Hi, I have a pair of Nepal extremes and a pair of g14 crampons. They don't seem to fit together well. The curve of the boot in the horizontal plane seems greater than the crampon can provide. Hence the crampon sticks out slightly on the inside and the mid outside point in 1cm in from the edge of the boot. This provides little support on frozen ground.
Anyone had this, or solved it. I was thinking of filling the linking bar down so it could rotate a bit more. My feet are size 9. The crampons quite old

I haven’t got the boots you’ve got but have you seen the Grivel Super asymmetric bars, which are more curved to accommodate a different shaped boot? The Grivel site says they fit g14’s.
Just tried to copy in a link but failed miserably!

Thanks Phil. I will order a pair

Currently using the super asymmetric Grivel bars with AirTechs on Nepal Cubes and whilst not perfect, they are definitely significantly better than the normal bars.
Hopefully should be a similar improvement with the G14s.

I seem to remember my G14s came with the asymmetric bars included
