WINNER - Win A Pair Of Julbo Mountaineering Sunglasses Competition

©

When launched in 1950, the Vermont revolutionised mountaineering eyewear, allowing climbers to finally reach the peaks with proper eye protection. These glacier sunglasses marked the start of climbing's glory years, as mountaineers set out to conquer the highest peaks in the world. Initially adopted by climbers but then made famous by rock stars such as Sting, they have become collector's items.

Since the introduction of the Vermont, Julbo has continued to work with highly demanding sports men and women to develop lenses that are perfectly suited to each type of use.

The brand's own concept developers and designers work in collaboration with Team Julbo athletes who provide feedback for the development and refinement of the products. With such collaborative assistance, Julbo generates innovations each year, developing new frame concepts to meet new sporting requirements. Julbo draws on its experience and expertise to select the best materials and lens coatings – anti-reflective, ant-fogging, water repellent finishes etc. to create exclusive, high performance lenses. All Julbo eyewear meets European, American and Australian standards.

Explorer 2.0 / Protection at its highest

Faster, stronger, higher: high mountaineering is changing, and the same is true for Julbo's flagship mountain model. More ergonomic, better ventilation, slimmer and more stylish, Explorer 2.0 reaches new summits in performance.

With large coverage, removable shields, 360° adjustable temples and high protection lenses, these glacier sunglasses are designed for extreme conditions without any comprise.

The Explorer 2.0 is available with Julbo's fixed lens Spectron and AltiArc 4 alongside the Cameleon and Zebra photochromic lenses which adjust according to the conditions, these are class leading lenses and cover a wide range of applications.

In this competition Julbo Eyewear and UK distributor Lyon Equipment have 2 pairs of Julbo sunglasses from the mountaineering range up for grabs. The 2 winners can choose between the Explorer 2.0, Monte Rosa & Monte Bianco in their choice of lens. (dependant on availability)
