We want your input! As we look ahead to the next chapter of the BMC, we are asking for your support in developing the strategy for 2025-2030. Please watch our proposed strategy overview and take our survey.
More than a thousand people, all ten BMC Areas, two Open Forums, Board, Members Council and Staff sessions and dozens of organisations have contributed to the refresh of the BMC's strategy over the last six months.
Thank you to everyone for your input. We have listened to all of it and endeavoured to capture as much as possible in this latest iteration of our 2030 Strategy.
You have overwhelmingly asked for an outward looking, inclusive organisation, inspiring and supporting adventure for all, with a focus on access, people, skills, communities and the environment.
We have summarised the results in this nine minute video. Please take a look and then let us know what you think by completing this short survey. It's YOUR BMC – please have your say!
Many thanks,
Paul (CEO) and Dom (President).

Comments
I’d like to know what the strategy means by ‘embedding a safe culture’ and what proposals might be made to meet this end?
Perhaps I am being gormless, but where is the video "We have summarised the results in this nine minute video.” please?
This is the video embedded in the article on the BMC website:

I'd presume it was intended to be hyperlinked from the UKC Press Release version of the article but got missed by someone at some point in the process of transferring to UKC (no blame offered at anyone, just suggesting what may have happened).

Thanks spenser. I am sorry, but I cannot watch that, maybe it is my browser, but it appears as a postcard with a talking stamp.
It's a slide deck with the picture of the speakers in the corner (I think it moves on from the first slide around 44 seconds).
It looks like it was recorded over Zoom so I don't know if the speakers can be given a bit more presence on screen without them needing to rerecord the presentation (powerpoint's record function creates a similar video in picture thing, but you can manually increase the size of it so you don't feel like the person is talking to you through a telescope. I've popped Dom an email flagging this.
