250m, 8 pitches.

Rockfax Description
A nice, clean line with interesting climbing throughout. Many teams opt to miss out the top pitch and lower the grade significantly.
1) 6b, 2) 5c. Cross the grassy ledge to reach the next pitch.
3) 6a, 4) 6a+, 5) 6b, 6) 4b, 7) 7a. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
The classic. Steep at first, then slabbier with a very steep crux pitch right at the top. Start just after the cables. 2x50m, 13 quickdraws, 6b+ oblig.

This route is dedicated to Bernie Schulke, late owner of the Hotel des Voyageurs in Vallorcine who was killed in an avalanche in Italy in April 2003. Now sadly I have to add Bernie's girlfriend Daniela to that dedication, also killed in an avalanche in Italy - less than a kilometre from Bernie, in March 2010.

Nice route. Skipped the top pitch and finished up Voie Piola. Little bit of French free on the 2nd 6b+ pitch which was surprisingly hard

Unexpectedly hard (as we were expecting to be on a different route, which was 6b). Not a bad route all the same

Really nice long varied route on great rock in the sun. Beautiful spot. Close encounter with chamois on the descent!
