Ste Ridd 16 Mar Lead What a route. Done under powder with plenty of spin drift which made for slow progress up the chimney. Abbed off the arch to avoid loaded upper slopes which proved to be a good choice as a small avalanche was triggered on the approach slope when abbing off.

Robbie Blease 9 Mar AltLd O/S Outrageous route! No matter how small you think the hole might be, it'll be smaller! Abbed off the arch to avoid mega loaded slopes, this turned out to be a good decision as a couple of guys got airlifted after being avalanched on the other side of the corrie as we climbed! The abseil did come with it's own challenges though, very nearly had to leave 300 quids worth of ropes on the fell!

RM199 7 Mar AltLd O/S Lead 1st, 3rd, 5th pitch. Great if unusual route and fully worth V today with powder. Main chimney could be IV 5 if abbed off above but topping out worthy of a soft V even in neve. No tech 6?

donalmurray 2 Feb Lead O/S What a weird route! Woke up on Sunday feeling like I had been through a tumble drier. My chest had been compressed so many times that day squeezing through the impossibly small holes. Had to slither through the last squeeze with both arms above my head and ended up getting a boot stuck when I was halfway out. Lots of in situ gear - bolted Scottish winter caving. Felt soft for a V, 6.

davkeo 13 Jan, 2018 AltLd O/S The most fun Iv had on a winter route. Particularly p2 which I thought was the living end. Pulling into the cave was bloody brillant & felt totally outer worldly. Soloed up p1, I did p2 & p4 (45m). Done in 5 to the top. Don't think there's any tech 6 on the route apart from p4 which was the crux. A good windy day option today.

Hugh Simons 26 Nov, 2017 AltLd O/S Led P1 & P3 to the top of the arch. Abbed from there to retrieve my stuck cam on Pitch 1 (which I got out, happy days!). Excellent route, so much fun, low in the grade and great gear throughout. Getting through the hole at the top of pitch 2 was a comedy show in itself (Liam had to take his harness off on lead and I was stuck for about 15 mins). Great crag, can't wait to come back.

bandersnatch 5 Mar, 2017 AltLd O/S A 4 star classic. How many crags have a tunnel system opening onto a perch below a huge keystoned arch? Upper pitch above arch may just about warrant a V6 under powder, otherwise a very comfortable IV6 on the day. Bring a camera, if for no other reason than to catch your partner's less than graceful struggles! Even better route than expected.
