Ace route, did it in summer about 5 years ago. Lots of fun and good route choice for a wild day

The most fun Iv had on a winter route. Particularly p2 which I thought was the living end. Pulling into the cave was bloody brillant & felt totally outer worldly. Soloed up p1, I did p2 & p4 (45m). Done in 5 to the top. Don't think there's any tech 6 on the route apart from p4 which was the crux. A good windy day option today.

Led P1 & P3 to the top of the arch. Abbed from there to retrieve my stuck cam on Pitch 1 (which I got out, happy days!). Excellent route, so much fun, low in the grade and great gear throughout. Getting through the hole at the top of pitch 2 was a comedy show in itself (Liam had to take his harness off on lead and I was stuck for about 15 mins). Great crag, can't wait to come back.

View it a bit like the Kamasutra. You are going to end up in some interesting positions; some good, some bad, all very entertaining.

Did first two pitches then abbed off due to dampness, brill

A 4 star classic. How many crags have a tunnel system opening onto a perch below a huge keystoned arch? Upper pitch above arch may just about warrant a V6 under powder, otherwise a very comfortable IV6 on the day. Bring a camera, if for no other reason than to catch your partner's less than graceful struggles! Even better route than expected.

Lead P1/2 together and then 4, Col led 3 & ran 5 (Raeburn's Chimney) out to the top. Wriggling fish moves aplenty.

Managed to grab the short decent weather window. Buttress was in great condition, looked just like the guidebook photo. What a route, very unique! Mental squeezing and wriggling through the tunnels. Hilarity. A good test for the durability of gore-tex...

Lead p3 out of hole. Totally bonkers and probably the best route this season. Seriously soft at the grade.

very esoteric route, squeezing out of the last hole under the arch is awesome with great exposure! Thin conditions at the top. Climbing in front of ladies from the Slovenian Alpine Association which was a amusing experience

Hmmm, great first pitch then it got tricky for a 6'5" male. Down to my baselayer to get through the tight squeeze! Nice climbing on the top pitches as well.

Unusual....pretty straightforward for V, although the top pitch above the arch was thin and tenous at times, probably off route as usual!

Had quite the epic! First V 6! The route was fantastic! After Raeburns chimney the conditions got bad however and we were forced to abb in the dark. Only first pitch is V. Low in the grade

Lots of verglas in the chimney, which made for hard going. Can't believe I thought this might be a good first grade IV a few years ago...

Absolute insanity. Comical grunting and popping up out of small chest wide holes. Like alpine pot holing. Not for the claustrophobic or those with child bearing hips. A brilliant day out. Too funny
