βeta: Ridiculous sandbag! This is E2 5b in the recent Roaches BMC guide. Don't know about that, but HVS 5b implies that it's safe. It definitely felt way harder than the E1s that I've done. To fall from the crux at the top would be a deck unless you had a sprinter. Great route though.

βeta: nice moves at the start and the mantle - deserves more attention, considering how short the walk-in is from the path!

Jamiewalkerjones 7 Jul Lead O/S Thought that this was quite spicy. Toughest HVS I've done for a while, the gear wasn't as good as I was hoping, but it was all over soon enough. Wouldn't want to do it on a hot day!

Tom Last 30 Nov, 2006 Lead O/S Great moves. Crux at the top. Bit of a sandbag at the moment. Upper crack's full of cr*p so no gear there. Fall from the crux would be a deck. E2 5b in the BMC guide.

Andy Clarke 19 May, 2004 Lead O/S Did this thinking it was HVS, from old guide. E1 probably fair enough, but not E2, as in new guide.
