The bouldering at Anston Stones Wood all takes place on land owned by Anston Parish Council. To preserve the good relationship that climbers have with the Parish Council, The British Mountaineering Council have agreed the following guidelines which we ask all climbers to adhere to:

Finger-busting traverse of the buttress, starting up The Undercut then tacking right along the natural traverse line, crossing the blanker section between Blind Bat and Last Stand, then into the finish of Alpha. Copping out early into Phoenix is 7C, and grades drop from there if you bail out sooner. © Rockfax

βeta: I snapped a little spike foot hold off the other day. Fortunately it left a little edge ~5cm lower. Don't think it changes much but if someone was feeling super keen and wanted to glue it back on the hold is intact and at the bottom of the crag just below where it fell off. | βeta? | |
