Rockfax Description
The blank wall left of Vulcan has this extremely hard and harrowing route. High in the grade.
1) 15m. As for Vulcan.
2) 6c, 35m. Climb the initial wall past loose fangs and bushes to gain a ledge. Micro wires and hard moves lead to crimpy holds and a peg. A very hard sequence leads past this to gain a good but hard-won wire. Continue straight up the slightly easier wall, trending right to finish. © Rockfax

lowered in and toproped it then went for the lead after resting while bruce toproped it.the lower pegs are gone and a new peg has been placed much higher so a preplaced extender is comforting. I had a couple of mini epics on it as i had rushed it on top rope and didn't remember how i had done the crux, so i managed to knock out my first piece of gear that protects the section up to the crux and the peg, this meant i was fully committed from the get go. Up to the crux was easy and clipping the peg was comforting, i then had a moment mid crux where my foot sketched and i nearly creamed off but i was up to the undercut post crux quickly, from here its much easier and other than breaking off some foot holds and some crumbly rock the route is straight forward to the top. nice climb more people should have onsight attempts on this and it would clean up nicely.

A decent climb but no where near as good as vulcan or the other nearby routes. Pretty bold too.
