Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

Rockfax Description
Climbing straight up the face from the initial traverse gives this gap filler. A visit to the Wuthering slot for runners is a bit of pain but a sensible idea - more like E3 if you don't bother. © Rockfax

deacondeacon 6 Jun, 2014 Lead O/S The description on here is different to the bmc description. I placed gear in the wuthering gear slot, then traversed back almost to the arĂȘte and climbed up. Then continued up the face above. Although more climbing than Wuthering it's pretty contrived.

Chris the Tall 11 Dec, 2005 Lead rpt I thought I was doing Wuthering - 18 years on from my previous ascent. No wonder I thought it was quite different to how I remembered it, and now I know why. Seems a more logical finish to me.
