Rockfax Description
This modern bolted route follows the first three pitches of the old Via Bruno Bertoldi. It offers elegant climbing up some lovely slabs. The route is well equipped on the harder sections, though it is only sparsely bolted on the easier pitches. A small rack is recommended.
Start below the grey rocks at the base of the right side of the face, and ascend a grassy ramp towards the prominent Trenker Crack to reach a peg by a niche.
1) 4+, 2) 6b, 3) 6a, 4) 6a, 5) 6a, 6) 6a. © Rockfax

arose 1 Aug, 2018 AltLd Great route, really consistent at the grade. The rockfax topo is not quite correct and seeing as there’s no pitch descriptions .... the grades are correct and all pitches about 30m. 1) climb choosy ground up and left before following the ramp out right. 2)step right and make hard moves over the bulge. Follow the bolts direct. 3) follow the bolts out right where they abruptly stop. Keep trending up and right to a short corner, belay at the top of this. 4) make steep moves up before following bolts left and back right. 5) the s bend pitch. Climb up to the bolt directly above then traverse right to the other bolt obvious from belay. Climb up and right before stepping left at the last bolt. 6) continue straight up. There is a good abseil point to the left of where the route finishes.

Sarah Busef 28 Apr, 2018 AltLd Led pitches 1, 3, 5. 6b pitch was slightly overhanging on small holds with a pumpy crux. Pitch 3 was long and sparsely protected - beyond a sketchy rightward traverse is a rusty piton. Next good bolt is after some easy climbing above that. Pitch 5 was amazing, heart fluttered on that leftward traverse. Super climbing. Pro tips: Climb up slab on right to make pitch 1, else 7 pitches long. Don't get lost on pitch 3, talk yourself into blind, upward momentum. Ab elsewhere, this ain't the place. It hails in the Dolomites in April/May.

Ian Stirrups 27 Jul, 2017 2nd Pulled on quite a few of the bolts on pitch 2. Also 1 on pitch 4. However well out of my comfort zone so quite happy with what I managed. Amazing route at the grade.

Sam2257 26 Sep, 2016 AltLd 6b pitch is stiff (6b+?) and the rockfax guidebook is hopelessly wrong about the direction of p3, traverses up an right a long way with no gear to get to belay. Superb route tho!
