Rockfax Description
A high-quality pitch with an optional variation finish. Start up Illusion then move left to a groove. Climb the groove to a small ledge (peg above). Traverse left across a wall to a short groove below a roof and pull around its right-hand side to a gain another groove. Finish up this. A popular variation is to pull steeply out right from the finishing groove to a flake and tree belay above it with no change in the overall grade. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
An excellent and entirely reasonable big pitch taking a long diagonal line, never desperate but always interesting. Start at the Illusion block and follow the orange groove/ramp and delicate left rib until thoughtful moves gain the Kidnapped niche. Exit the right side of this and pull through the roof with shocking ease. Continue up the pleasant groove to gain the abseil tree.
Direct finish E3 5c: From the rest after the main roof, climb the steep, bold wall on the right to gain a good flake to finish.
