Rockfax Description
A grand and engaging little adventure, with a comfortable half-height belay option. Climb out of the lower cleft, and continue past two bulges; continue up the wall above, to reach a rest (possible stance) below a corner in the right side of the upper arete. Climb the superb, balancy corner to a steep exit. © Rockfax

Started midway up the first pitch as sea was quite rough. Great route, wait till you're bridged at the top of the wide crack and then look down...

Lead the second pitch. Challenging for my first real VS!

Hard to find. The first pitch seemed too easy for 4c. Might have gone too far left.

good Route, the second pitch is very nice but a bit hard, felt like a 5a. Did it in one pitch.

Excellent varied climbing and tough for the grade, way harder than the other VSs on this buttress.

5a not 4a as it says in the old pembroke guide. so beware of a sand bag.

Excellent position above the waves - steep and easy up to the ledge, then steep and tricky climbing up the wide crack to the top - take lots of large gear - felt quite run-out as i had none and beware of loose blocks on the left hand arete!

Superb. A big route with a real sense of adventure. The Ab down was fun as the wind had carried the rope sideways over a spike so I had to tension traverse above a large drop to remove it. I did it as one long pitch and found typically nice climbing with the crux as described being the top corner, very high above the crashing waves. Cool !

The upper groove isn't balancy, but it is very pleasant. A good route once you've worked out where it is.

Couldn't make it over the bulge, backed down (shouted 'take' but in the end downclimbed without weighting the gear), then climbed around on the left. Done second pitch as per guidebook but could not enjoy it cause the tightness of new shoes got absolutely excruciating by that point. Called it a day after that.

Mathias took a more direct (and harder) line to the first stance. Will followed up the original line.
