Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

23m. The un-named mystery line mentioned in N. Wales Limestone and A55 Sport Climbs. Now re-cleaned (much loose rock removed, pretty lethal before), re-bolted and given a name. Good climbing. Start 4 m R of Half-Life. Climb a groove to a grass ledge with a sapling. Climb the in the vicinity of the groove behind the sapling to gain the next footledge. Up the rib on the R. Bridge L and make a long reach to jugs above. Zig-zag more easily to the next groove. Up this with difficulty and step R to reach a good handhold on the R side of the pedestal above. Stand on the pedestal and finish R then up. Nicely delicate.

harold walmsley 8 Apr, 2017 Lead RP The old mystery route now climbs very well after cleaning and re-bolting. Probably only * (or less?) by N Wales Limestone star ratings and definitely not as good as Map but I think the latter deserves*** and on that basis I give this a personal **.
