nwakeman 22 Oct, 2018 Lead O/S The lower crux move was tricky but not too difficult with basic climbing skills. The ledge onto Dolmen Buttress looked imposing but once established was no problem. Good climb up a groove after this and again posed no real difficulties. The last third of the climb we stuck to the true line of the arete/ridge and this led to a chockstone block that was too little to squeeze through and too big to climb over - we took a right hand 3-4m traverse with an airy drop to the gully 30-40m below - stretchy move was able to overcome this. The rest of the route was easy scrambling at grade 2. Good fun.

dan_waterston 27 Aug, 2018 Lead O/S “Best G3 in the Ogwen Valley” apparently. A good route, made more challenging by wet conditions & zero visibility. A proper adventure. Moved together throughout & pitched 2 crux sections (access to courtyard, and corner from ramp). Took LHS of gully. Crux bits felt a bit harder than Mod to me, but maybe due to conditions, big boots, rucksack & lack of confidence in crappy old frayed rope we were using!

Oujmik 27 Apr, 2015 Lead Mix of moving together, scrambling and pitched for the crux. Weather was freezing with some hail (actually much nicer than rain as it just bounced off). Some ice around the gully and on the summit rocks. Probably wasted some time trying to follow the guidebook perfectly on the lower section when you could pretty much just improvise. Crux section was fun - easy climbing in an interesting situation - although not as exposed as some suggest. Perhaps soloing it would induce greater respect for the drop. Upper section very straightforward but good quality rock and nice ambience. Mod seems about right for the crux, the rest is much easier.

Gerry_Doncaster 6 Nov, 2011 - Did this one is horrible wet greasy conditions and still thoroughly enjoyed it. We only got the rope out for one pitch, the groove on the Dolmen Buttress, and was glad we did because my big boots were slipping all over the shop on the wet rock. Soloed the rest of the route. A couple of very exposed moves on the table topped tower further up but with good holds. A nice long sustained route with a proper mountain feel and good scrambling almost all the way to the summit rocks of Glyder Fach.

Headed to top left corner of grassy area and climbed chossy groove (unpleasant). Traversed R to a belay (exposed) and attempted to climb corner with chimney in top half (hard). After some cursing and battling, two kind souls appeared above (on correct start of Dolmen Ridge incidentally) and kindly threw down a rope (downclimbing was not appealing). Up I thrutched and Mrs MB followed more stylishly. We bailed due to time, but will be back now we know where correct start is! Funny how you can make the guidebook fit what you see. Seems stupid now I read it again.
