MrRiley 14 Dec, 2018 AltLd O/S One of the only complete routes in the coire, apart from the first pitch which we avoided on the left. Good neve for the first 3 pitches, aweful steep sugar for the last 2, scary. Atmospheric route! OliverRoss 27 Feb, 2016 AltLd O/S Brilliant climbing to start with, then went off route and conditions got more powdery. Blue skies throughout the day, and stars at the top of the route after some swimming.

peter.herd 29 Jan, 2012 AltLd O/S Intro to Lochnagar, lead pitches 2,4 and 6. Desperate time on run out snow and cornice well into the dark. Otherwise awesome.

Captain Solo 7 Jan, 2011 Solo Plan B as partner failed to materialise, no booby prize this though. Lovely snow ice on direct start and middle section, minimal powder in gully. Decided to go for right fork as it looked well iced and not so much powder as left fork. Cornice was a little bigger than I had hoped, took about 20mins to exit.

niallk 22 Feb, 2009 AltLd O/S Somehow got both the hollow ice pitch at the bottom and digging a trench through the cornice whilst standing on an unnervingly soft snow-ridge. Good variation route though.

Chris wilson 20 Apr, 2008 AltLd O/S Fantastic conditions for April, fat ice and good neve all the way except at the cornice. The iced up rocky step in the right fork provided some good entertainment. The cornice and the steep approach were unpleasant on soft snow. Great route and we seemed to be the only ones climbing in the coire!
