Climb a slabby rib to the overlap, leaning left to clip the bolts on High Stakes. Find holds over the centre of the overlap; tall people can just reach up for jugs while the short will have a tussle on their hands and have to rock over a high foot on the lip for the same jugs. Carry on up to the High Stakes lower-off. © Rockfax

Start as High Stakes, climb the L side of the rib on the R to the overlap (some very sharp holds: they seem sound but treat them with care). Find holds over the centre of the overlap and use them to reach jugs up and R. Move up to ledges and mantel on to the final groove/slab of High Stakes. Climb the final slab R of the lower off of High Stakes to the top
