Rockfax Description
Climb Cape York Crack (care needed with large flake) to just after the second overlap. Make an exposed traverse left to a flake/block near the left arete. Surmount the step above and exit up the groove on the left, finishing with an awkward mantel and an easy scree/grass slope. Walk right to the abseil point. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Climb Cape York crack to just after the crux (the 2nd overlap). Traverse L to a flake/block near the L arete (exposed). Surmount the step and exit up the groove on the L finishing with an awkward mantel and an easy scree/grass slope. 30 m of climbing then 15 m to 2 bolt belay at back of level (9 b and 2 bb - no lower off as gear very hard to retrieve by lowering due to traversing nature of route. The independent climbing is probably 6a but it does the 6a+ crux of Cape York Crack first.
