A superb route weaving a line of least resistance up the smooth slab L of Cape York Crack. The best route on the Cape York Level: a must do and well worth the walk up.

Climb a smooth, technical groove 2 m L of Cape York Crack to a slab. Step L to a thin break and tiptoe along it to the L arete. Climb this to the upper slab stride R and up to Cape York traverse. Continue directly up through the upper bulges to the Cape York Crack Lower off. Excellent and continuously interesting.
