Rockfax Description
155m. The great corner bounding the left side of the main slabs gives a magnificent climb, sustained and continually interesting. Unfortunately, it is very slow to dry. Scramble to the base of the corner.
1) 5c, 35m. Climb the corner for 15m (peg runner), then traverse right on friction to a shallow recess. Now go straight up the slab past a small overlap to a ledge. The corner can be climbed direct but is dirty and often wet.
2) 5c, 35m. Climb the corner to a ledge.
3) 5c, 40m. Climb the corner, usually wet, to grass at 25m. Go diagonally right up the slab to a small overlap and continue to a belay.
4) 5a, 25m. Move up the corner, traverse right, climb a short corner then an overlap and move up to the terminal wall. Traverse left to a tree.
5) 4c, 20m. Climb the wall behind the belay and continue to easy ground.
Finish diagonally right to gain the path, worth staying roped. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
5c. 5c, 5c, 4b.
3 'E2' pitches make this a tough proposition. Pitch 3 remains wet even in a drought, good luck!
