βeta: 30 mins walk in from free car parking small lay-by on left 200m after houses. Don’t go towards and into fort or lighthouse area. Veer left to new 8ft locked gate and negotiate this ! Follow road down and head for sea where two stakes await a 10m abseil. Move around left (looking out to sea) and start in large recess to climb up and over boulders at 10m in the cave. With three of us it took 2hr 45mins. After last pitch we Clambered left and down heading west and around ridge. Scrambled up with occasional loose rock but protectable to arrive at top. Great fun route | ||
