Rockfax Description
Cheesewring's most popular extreme that takes on the quarry wall at its highest point and incorporates plenty of good moves and a well-positioned final pitch. Start at a short right-angled corner to the right of a low bouldering wall.
1) 5a, 22m. Climb the corner and then a crack on the right to its end and a small shot-hole nut placement just above. Traverse left to a grassy ledge and iron-spike runner, climb the corner above to a stance and belay on another iron spike.
2) 6a, 17m. Move up leftwards from the belay and climb through bulges to a ledge below a smooth right-leaning groove. Climb the difficult groove, bolt, to a good shot-hole thread and continue up the pleasant wall to finish. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Peg described above is gone. One bolt now protects the crux section with a poor peg a little higher.
