Rockfax Description
A great little route. The traverse ledge on the first pitch has some moss and is best avoided if damp. Start as for Nea.
1) 4b, 18m. Climb Nea but after 8m take the ledge system on the right and traverse until level with a triangular roof (in the rib of Phantom Rib). Lasso a spike on the left above the roof and then step down a few metres to where you can step left into the top crack of pitch 1 of Phantom Rib. Follow this to the belay ledge a few metres above.
2) 4b, 15m. The groove/crack up and left of the belay is followed until level with the belay on the top of Phantom Rib P2, where it is best to step left and belay. There is one particularly awkward move half way up.
