Dates: 1 March to 6 June
Reason: Nesting Birds
Peregrines nest on the main crag and the restriction covers the whole crag. If the birds fail to nest or fledge early then the restriction wil be lifted early and noted here.
Rockfax Description
A pleasant route. Start below the prominent diagonal overlap.
1) 4c 30m. Climb the slab - high first runner and friable in places - to a line of weakness running up and left below the overlap. Continue along this to the rampline of Desire. Follow this up and right through a bulge to reach a ledge with a peg belay in the corner on the right.
2) 4a, 8m. Climb the slab left of the capped corner of State of Independence. Climb the groove past a sapling to the top. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Start left of the corner and climb to below the roof. Skirt it on the left. Climb the groove, move right (possible stance) and finish up a steep crack.

βeta: Seems pretty low in the grade, bashing up through the bracken is the hardest part. Descent off the back and down crag left, there is a descent path bashed in. | βeta? | |
