Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

24m. For the fathers of twins. Start at the bottom toe of the buttress below and left of the start of Romeo and Juliet. Climb the groove to the large ledge shared with Romeo and Juliet. Pull up the short crack to gain the large ledge system rising rightwards which leads to a clean crack rising up to the large off-width crack which splits the capping overhang and provides good entertainment at the grade.

EcoClimber 18 Sep, 2018 2nd Excellent route. But needs the recent dust & rock splinters brushed off. Also small amount of gardening needs finishing. Really enjoyed it. Late finish for September : 8pm & nice & dark :-)

Marktrin 9 Apr, 2017 Lead Found out, a few days later, that I went seriously off line and actually finished up Romeo & Juliet. So it really was a Comedy of Errors !

Chris Ebbutt 20 Nov, 2016 Lead Cleaned in the morning and climbed that afternoon. Takes the longest line of least resistance up the tallest section of the crag with good gear and rock, with a great finishing pull over the top.
