Rockfax Description
The right-hand of the grooves is approached from the previous climb and entered with difficulty and a bit of an udge. The direct start is f6B+ and needs a fist-crunching jam. It was Whillans' barmy idea though apparently he never completed it. © Rockfax

βeta: Would recommend putting a small cam in the most sticky-out part of the crack to prevent rope-drag.

βeta: My notes: Try the direct start (British tech 6a according to Fawcett's book, "vicious rotating fist jam. You pull up on it, then outwards, then finally push down on it, every separate movement taking another layer of skin off".
