Rockfax Description
One of the very best HVS routes in the Peak, its remoteness adding to its cachet. Climb the centre of the front of the buttress passing a vertical crack to a fine and lonely finish. © Rockfax

βeta: Needs a proper heatwave and a good brush to be anywhere near the 3* it gets in the guidebook.

βeta: Intimidating start, gradually easing but pretty sustained. If it was on Stange the queue would reach the road. Take plenty of cams (I used 7!)

Droyd 26 Aug, 2017 Lead O/S Not quite the best HVS on grit, but utterly superb - if tough for both HVS and 5a. Abbed to retrieve the gear so gave some of the holds a brush for whoever does it next, but - while it's pretty green - most of the holds are grippy enough that it doesn't particularly matter.
